A 2-day workshop on self-publishing, fanzines and risograph printing leaded by Marco Nicotra and Laura Anastasio from BOLO Paper, in collaboration with Luca Bendandi of Vetro Editions.
The workshop will be held in Neukölln, next to Tempelhof, at Vetro Editions headquarters, during 48 Stunden Neukölln Festival. “48 Stunden Neukölln” is a forum for projects in all conceivable artistic disciplines found in the art scene in Berlin.
In this weekend workshop participants will be given the necessary tools to create their own personal version of a zine called “Wrestling at Ikea“.
The workshop last 1 day and half for all participants, the first part will be dedicated to studying different contemporary existing examples of self-published zines.
In the second part participants will be asked to cut and paste analog simple collage and photo composition using vintage wrestlers images and mixing them with ikea instruction in the most unconventional way. Later, editing, sequencing and design will be discussed practically, the final publication will be printed with a Risograph machine.

WHAT YOU NEED:
Nothing special, everything will be given by us, if you have bring some old photos/postcards of Wrestling, or Ikea instructions. You DON’T NEED to bring your laptop.
WHEN:
Friday 26th 10-7pm and Saturday 27h April 10-1pm, the workshop last 2 days for all participants! In the afternoon of saturday we will organise a exhibition of the best artworks and of the final publication for the festival visitors
